ncaa called weiberg last night to tell him they are taking 4, weiberg told them to take texas tech.  Doc Sadler is pissed.

KK said rumors have swirled since late last night, possibly the reason why ksu pulled the media thing today.  They found out last night.

Andy Katz on ESPN just said that the committee decided to give the last spot to NCSU if they won or Arkansas, if NCSU lost.  This was decided before the games began today.

I hope the apologists who are saying we should just take it in the ass and willingly accept this slap in the face from the NCAA with and NIT bid, would think real hard about what is going on with this conference we're part of.

The longer this corrupt process is supported, the longer this continues.

And why would Doc Sadler be pissed??? 

He won't even make the NIT!!

Don't see how Sadler and Huggins could be that close in order for Sadler to have that emotion.

I think Sadler is pissed about a number of issues with the conference including OSU just deciding not to travel or trying to travel early to the game this year and the conference office just going along with it.

I know about the OSU airplane crash, but they could have easily travelled a day early.

Probably due to the fact that if you're in the Big 12 North, you have to win the conference tourney in order to get into the NCAA tourney.  Otherwise, you're always at risk of a Big 12 South team being picked ahead of you, regardless if they finish below you in the standings.
