1. T Tech
2. Purdue
3. Illinois
4. Drexel
Here is what i find amusing. He is still loving up Air Force. He has them in. Here is there resume.........
RPI 33, 2-4 vs top 50, 22-8, 10-7 in MT west. Good non con wins vs T Tech and at Stanford. Conf good win was UNLV
They lost their last 4 (2 to teams 100+ RPI) and lost 6 of last 10
How does he still have them in
MY LAST 4 in ----
1. Illinois
2. K-State
3. Purdue
4. ODU
Last 4 out---
1. Drexel
2. Air Force
3. Stanford
4. W Virginia
whoever wins the Miss ST/Arkansas game still must win the SEC to get in.

According to the Drive to 65 column as of late tonight....
"K-State cashiered Texas Tech and looks very solid to make its way into the bracket now. The weaker Big 12 North helps explain the weakish computer profile, but with 22 wins, 10 leagues wins and a semifinal berth in a top-five league, it would be very difficult to make a strong case for exclusion now."
Thank you and goodnight.

Amen.......
None of those 4 that i have in "Last out" deserve it over us
Drexel----- finished 4th in the Colonial league. Went 0-4 vs 2 top Colonial teams. Did not make conf finals. They did their work in non con but you gotta do something in the conf. 4th freaking place in th 13rd rated conf and you did not beat either of the good Col. teams (VCU and ODU)
Air Force------- see above. Ksu has better conf record, more top 50 wins (thank you USC), and they sucked at the end of the year
Stanford------- 10-9 in Pac 10. RPI is high at 68, Lost 6 of last 9 games.
W Virg----- 10-8 in B East. Best road win was over RPI 155 Seton Hall, only 2 top 50 wins, weaker non con that Ksu

Ya, if I see freakin' Joe L's face on the TV again, the remote may end up through the screen. How do guys like him become such experts on sports? I guess watching them from the sideline. Same gooes for that short bald Clayton dude who does the NFL stuff, though I have no reason to hate him.
Joe Leonardi...... :twobirds:

Andy Glockner, who does the "DRIVE TO 65" on ESPN website is right on
He said Ksu, ILL, and Purdue all played themselves in today.
He says one at large bid is up for grabs and the top 4 contenders are ODU, Drexel, Air Force and Stanford.
He thinks ODU should get it
I totally agree.
Last 4 in ----- Illinois, Ksu, Purdue, ODU
Last 4 out---- Drexel, Air Force, Stanford , W Virg

i think drexel has a strong case over ksu. i agree on af. i think lunardi may be significantly off on them, it will annoy me if they get in (irregardless of ksu´s fate).
-
AF has no buisness being in, but you mark them down for being a lock. They had no buisness in last year when they went 0-2 vs. the top 50, and had no buisness being in 2 years before that, but still got in most likely because they are "Air Force". Theyll breeze in, no problem.

Lunardi doesn't watch the games -- the committee does. If you just look at numbers alone, TTech may still be ahead of KSU, but if you watched the game yesterday, they clearly do not.
Lunardi = fat kid who never played sports but just wants to be included so he analyzes stats.
Committee = at least half are former college athletes (per the commish on ESPNU yesterday).
Final statement on the debate: If you get pasted by 20+ by a team that 1) has more wins than you, 2) has more conference wins than you, 3) has more road wins than you, and 4) has just generally embarrassed you; you are not "ahead" of that team. Period.

Lunardi doesn't watch the games.... Period.
look i want to be convinced as much as any ksu fan. but you´re going to have to evaluate ksu rationally. we are right on the edge, and there are still a lot of games to be played. illinois, purdue, xavier and nevada &@#%ed us last night and ksu beating tech doesn´t change that.

Sure, there are plenty of scenarios that could go wrong for KSU, and KSU is on the edge. But the facts regarding the teams "ahead" of us have to be evaluated as well and TTech is on that list.

ok. but irregardless of whether you can still make an argument for tech over ksu, there are a lot of other teams out there that ksu is competing with.
perhaps your post was a poor one to choose to respond to.
i´ve seen too many powertard posts this morning whose analysis of ksu´s situation is "lunardi, lol. ksu is IN". it kind of wears on you.
