just kidding dude, dicknose as in "what are you looking at dicknose?" The qb has a lot of upside but I bet he plays baseball if he really throws as hard as reported.

He can play both. I'm sure Prince would be all for him playing baseball in the Spring. It would be better though, if Hill offered him and he took that Hill's scholarship and walked on to the football team.

I thought the athletic scholarship still counted against each program....   He would use up a Baseball AND a football scholarship slot... No?

I remember watching some special on Miami (Fl) a few years ago and they focused on how many of them ran track as well, and noted that opened up additional schollies.  This was probably 7-10 yrs ago, so it may well have changed.  Also, it's possible I don't remember things as clearly as I would like.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't... I know academic scholarships did until the recent rule change but I don't think athletic scholarships would hurt both sports because they were on athletic scholarship.

Couldn't you get a scholly for baseball and walk on for football?

Yeah, but baseball is probably not the sport to do that with.  Baseball rarely gives out full rides, usually it is a fraction and they attempt to make up the difference with other grants and academic scholarships. I saw that Skip Berkaman, longtime LSU coach, said he only gave out something like eight full rides EVER. (these numbers are probably not exactly accurate, but you get the idea) Jared Brite played both football and baseball, and I pretty sure he ate up a football schollie.
