Lon Kruger: conference record: 34-24 (.58) Best run 27-15 (.64) over three years
Jack Hartman: conference record: 133-91 (.594) Best Run 67-17(.80) over six years!!! :eek:
Tex Winter: conference record: 144-56 (.72) Best run 82-14 (.85)over seven years!!!!  :eek: :eek:


Wow. We've had some damn good stretches of basketball.

Honestly, we are going to figure how meaningless conference records and titles are in basketball. All that matters is what you do in March.

Saul is right on this one.  Its the dance that matters.  The conference games are only foreplay.

my point is they go hand/hand. If you are winning in the conference, it usually means you will have success in the tournament. so both are good benchmarks.

Yeah, and you can't jump of a bridge if you're a 2 seed that loses to a 7 seed.  Conference record is a much better indicator of how good you really are...the tournament is a crapshoot.

not being 6-10 is fricking huge.

winning 10 conference games, and knowing that we're just getting better, is frickin huge.
