You never know about the committee.  I wouldn't say our chances are zero, but Hoskins' % or worse definately.

That's what I keep trying to figure out, I can't decide if we'll get a good shake or the shaft from the commitee, I'd think they'd want Huggins in if possible but I have nothing to back that up.

I really think having Huggins as our coach is way overdone by our fans, for the most part it will simply be based on our resume and how it stacks up to the rest of the bubble teams.  I doubt Huggins' name will even be mentioned by the committee.

the only problem with this reasoning, is that the same people who make the decision on who goes dancing are also the same people who keep Duke in the top 25 week after week.  Names carry weight with every choice like dancing.  Huggins will be a +1.

The people who vote in either top 25 are not the same people who choose the tournament field.  In fact, a lot of those people would probably NOT want Huggins in the tournament.

crap, I didn't see the "if it ended today" stipulation....why consider that? The season doesn't end today. My percentage (63.something%) is based on when the season actually ends, after we beat OU and Tech*.

* which we will

I am 94% sure we're going to get in

I am 87% sure we are going to beat OU.  Then I am 62% sure we are going to beat TT.  After that I think there's a 81% chance that we lose the semifinal game.  That would leave us with about a 68% chance of making the tourney.  Which means there is a 32% chance that we get snubbed.  I am 100% sure that I would not bet on any of that though.

If the season ended today: 0%.  If we beat OU and then beat TT in the Tourney: 75%.  If we then go on to beat TA&M: 100%.

K-State just needs to beat Oklahoma and then get a win over Tech in the Big 12 Tournament and you guys are a lock to make the Big Dance.  You lose to Oklahoma, and it's the NIT.

I'd say 0% becuase if the season ended today that would mean something very strange and probably disturbing happened to cause the cancellation of the last game and the Big 12 Tourney.

56.5%

About 10%. If OSU had that extra game maybe they'd be 7-8 in conf and Tech is 8-7 so the committee would take both those teams ahead of us.  We have to win 2 more to get in.
