With every team surrounding us in the RPI seemingly winning every game against a top 25 team this week I don't see a 10-6 record qualifying us for an NCAA berth. But I do see 10-6 + 1st round win over Knight/Tech getting us in. Looking at Knight's record in the conf tourny since 2001 I see there is a trend that has to end for that to happen.
2002
#5 Texas Tech 80, #12 Texas A&M 71
#5 Texas Tech 73, #4 Oklahoma State 51
#5 Texas Tech 80, #12 Texas A&M 71
2003
#7 Texas Tech 68, #10 Baylor 65
#7 Texas Tech 92, #2 Texas 81
#2 Oklahoma 67, #7 Texas Tech 60 (ot)
2004
Texas Tech 79, #4 Colorado 69
Oklahoma State 82, #5 Texas Tech 77
2005
#4 Texas Tech 64, #5 Iowa State 56
#4Texas Tech 69, #1 Oklahoma 63
#3 Oklahoma State72, #4 Texas Tech 68
2006

#1 Texas 77, #8 Texas Tech 70

This team will get it done.
The Nubb loss is much worse than this one.

Obviously the Nubb loss is easier to take. Do you think we can "out tough" a team built under 4 years at 'Knight School'. This team still shows the mental weakness defined by the last 12 years of Wildcat basketball. If Huggs wins that game we are :dancin: and it might be his best coaching job ever.

At least two must wins. If the tourny win is over Tech, then maybe only two
