The Cowboys are 19-9 and 5-8 in the Big XII with wins at Missouri State, at Syracuse, over Pittsburgh and Texas and losses at Tennessee, at Kansas, at Texas A&M, at Colorado and at Oklahoma as well as having four losses in a row.

The Cowboys are lead by F-C Mario Boggan and G's JamesOn Curry and Terrel Harris. Boggan averages 20 points/game (leading the team) and 8 rebounds/game (leading the team). Curry averages 17 points/game and 3 rebounds/game. Harris averages 10 points and 4 rebounds/game. Curry and G Byron Eaton co lead the team in assists with 4 assists/game.

I've got a feeling that Oklahoma State is going to come out with an amazing sense of urgency in this game because if they don't win it they're done. However, the Cats are rolling again right now and can see their goals in sight and won't let this one slip away. It won't be easy because of Oklahoma State's sense of urgency and the fact that it's on the road but the Cats will win a close one.

OSU's Muonelo ready to return

Oklahoma State coach Sean Sutton on Monday said freshman guard Obi Muonelo is expected to return tonight against Kansas State after suffering a broken ankle 11 games into the season.

Muonelo was averaging 11.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game before the injury occurred.

"We were 11-0 with Obi in the lineup," Sutton said. "If we could start winning again with him, I think the NCAA Tournament selection committee would look at that."



Maybe he suits up and doesn't play much... This would be a big boost for OSU.

That could provide some boost, but how much can a guy help (a freshman no less) after being out as long as he has?

I can't imagine him being ready to get large amounts of playing time.

My guess is he plays, but plays sparingly tonight.

Seriously, as soon as he's thrown out there you have to go right at him.  I'm sure he's had a fine rehab and all after his broken leg healed, but the first time in game situations he probably is going to be a step slow and not real comfortable, especially as a freshman.  If you get Harris or Maybank on him you go right at him and see how comfortable he is.  If Sutton wants to throw him out, we've got to take advantage of a guy who could probably hurt them as much as help them after being out so long.

OSU site has conflicting reports on whether or not this kid plays.  OK paper says he won't.
