Title: Hannah in big 12 play
Post by: fatty fat fat on February 24, 2007, 01:44:23 PM
15.2 ppg
73-152  .480 fg%
25-66  .379 3pt%
27-35   .771 ft%
15 steals
53-35 assists - to's

not as many steals or free throws as expected, but still a devastatingly  recruiting loss

This one is worse.

Arenas came out of high school as a confident player, but he was knocked down a peg when only a handful of major colleges recruited him. UCLA told him it had only one open spot and wanted to save it for Carlos Boozer, who wound up going to Duke. On a tip, he came to the attention of an Arizona assistant, Rodney Tention. After visiting the campus, Arenas told his dad, “I loved Arizona. I had a good time. I want to get there.” His father leaned toward Kansas State, where a friend was an assistant coach and promised Arenas at least 1,000 minutes of playing time, but his son prevailed.

15 steals

Steals is a shocker.  He'd have more under Huggs.

Where's Stephon Hannah's mom when you need her?

I hope you are right. But I'd rather have proven #'s than the mythical tyree.

those #s at mu don´t mean he would have had similiar results at ksu.  and evans can shoot.  that isn´t mythical.

No, but they would have been similar.

And none of us really know how good of a player Tyree is.

just my 2 cents, friend since 1970.

Isn't Evans one of the leading scorers in HS basketball history?  I know I read his JR year he had the 3rd most points (800+) in a season in Virginia history only behind Iverson and Malone.  Plus, he was a consensus RSCI Top 100 player.

Just to be clear; is Hannah a "true PG"? :)

Your right about being 3rd to AI and Moses in pts for a season.  Not sure about his career numbers.

He was rated right around 60th.  I believe it was Rivals and i believe the year was 05 when they had him 60th best overall

Evans was #72 in the RSCI in 05.
