*** I will have a complete bubble team detailed breakdown Sunday afternoon. Here is who we need to root against this weekend--
GT @ Virginia .......... Tech loss would put them at 6-8
Clem @ BC ........ loss would cripple Clemson at 5-9
Purdue @ Northwestern ....... loss would make PU 6-8 and 1-9 on road
Illinois @ Penn St ...... upset here would hurt and drop ILL to 8-7
Indiana @ Mich St ....... loss would drop Spartans to 7-7 with 2 road games still left (Mich and Wisc)
Ole Miss @ S Carolina ..... Miss would fall back to 7-7
WV @ Pitt ......... would drop WV back to 8-7 and drop their 54th RPI even lower
*** Couple of games between teams bubble teams
1) OK ST (5-7 RPI 41) @ T Tech (6-7 RPI 43) ... I want Osu to lose and really cripple their chances
2) Miss St (7-6 RPI of 62) @ Georgia (7-6 RPI 60)
3) Cuse (8-5 RPI 65) @ Providence (7-6 RPI 64)

Wouldn't we want OSU to win? We've already lost to TT, so our only opportunity would be to beat OSU...we'd want as much separation between us and TT as possible. And looking at TT's schedule,(Baylor, @ISU) should they win against OSU it looks like they could very well finish 9-7 (and have 20 wins)...if we finish 10-6, I think TT's quality wins would jump them over us.

I think we want OSU out of the picture. With Tech's favorable schedule they are in better shape than we are IMO.
What we really need to be concerned about is improving our own resume. If we don't, it doesn't matter what anyone else does. Its not like the committee is going to isolate the Big 12 and say "we've got Tech, KSU, OSU, OU, and MU; who do we take?". The reality is we are competing with Tech, OSU, GT, Clemson, Purdue, Illinois, Syracuse, West Virginia, USC, etc. for at large spots. OSU would essentually be out with a loss today, but I don't think the same can be said for Tech. Tech's big wins will carry them a long way, no matter what we do. IMO our best bet is to make sure we're good enough to be in and the Big 12 then likely gets 5 bids and not for. If we're a 4 bid league, I think we're probably out and Tech is in.

Yeah, we want Osu out of the picture. A loss today and they have to win out and get a win or two in the B12 tourney. Tech has 3 wins over top 10 teams and they are 6-6 on the road, so they would still be considered if they go 8-8.
First things first for us. We must win today and then beat OU in a week. Those 2 wins are critical.
Then we can feel safer about this bubble talk with a win at Osu or getting that win on Friday in OKC. That 22nd win is going to be big and IMO gets us in for sure.
If not, i still think a 21 win Ksu team that won 10 conf games and finished 4th in the B12 is still deserving of a bid ....... so i guess i am still gonna root against these teams who appear they might only get 8 or 9 conf wins.
