Title: Latest Bubble Watch

Should be in:

Kansas State [18-7 (7-3), RPI: 46, SOS: 101] Rolled past Colorado to help salve the sting of the flop in Lawrence. The net result is fine for the 'Cats, though. Cartier Martin & Co. still have some very winnable games (at Colorado, home to Iowa State) left to improve their position.

I think he meant that he was surprised to see OSU still as a lock.

Also:

Texas [17-7 (7-3), RPI: 53, SOS: 91] Interesting debate mid-week at the USBWA mock selection meeting, where the concept of Texas "feeling like an NCAA team" was discussed. I happen to agree, as there's no way anyone wants to play this team in the first round. In this case, try to ignore the weakish computer numbers. FWIW, the Horns have beaten LSU and Arkansas and six of the losses are on the road or at neutral sites.

The Shux are still treading water.  I forgot about their bracket buster game.  Appalachain St?  Not really a sexy matchup or one that should be termed a bracket buster.  I don't really see App St getting in unless they win the Southern Conf tourney, whether or not they beat WSU.

Quote
Wichita State [15-9 (7-7), RPI: 71, SOS: 87] Beat Indiana State and Illinois State at home. Now needs to get the one at Drake on Wednesday and that's 9-7, which would be important with a final three of App State (BB), MO State and at Creighton. This could be building to the at-large debate of the year if the Shockers wind up 9-9 or even 10-8. The computer numbers are terrible, but how do you ignore the early-season wins?

Yes, I did. Why is OSU still a lock? (Figured I'd spell it out for you.)

Right now its got to be RPI.  OSU is still #20.  BCS schools with RPIs that high will get in.  We've just got to keep playing well; win the next two and our RPI will probably get back into the lower 40s or higher 30s.  Win tomorrow and we'll be back into most projections.
