"For years they haven't had fans in here, so I don't know why one
coach would make a difference," senior guard Dominique Coleman said
before Wednesday's practice. "At least at K-State and all those
other schools, they've had the fans. Here it's just different, it's
just a different city, it's not really a basketball town.
"Unless they get Bobby Knight's son in here, I don't think too many
people are going to be here next year either."
CU lost 72-60 in Manhattan on Feb. 18, 2006, in front of an
announced crowd of 9,768. A capacity crowd of 13,266 is expected to
be awaiting the Buffs on Saturday.
"That's what I've heard that every game is sold out," Patton
said. "They've always had good crowds, but now I guess it's even
better. And they're playing extremely well."

WTF? Bobby Knight's son?

Bar none . . . CU is the weirdest school in the Big 12. The TexAgs are just weird in their ways: CU as an institution, as a student body, as an administration is just a freak show. The deny one athlete admission, then take another kid who couldn't get into San Diego State . . . they keep a sideshow act like Ricardo Patton for years, but fire the school President and the AD for basically what happened in the football program and keep the headcoach for another year.
Weird school.

I couldn't have summarized them much better myself. CU is weirdness incarnate.

You know, John Denver DID appear on the Muppet Show a long time ago...How old is Hawkins? Hope he's a better pilot than his old man

I've had relatives that lived for years in Boulder, and you hit the nail on the head.

The one CU player from KC is no longer there, right?
That means we won't get to be entertained by his crazy ass mama this year...
