Title: Anyone ever listen to "Sports Sanity?"

Caller- "I really think ku didn't try in the NCAA's. They were so focused on Texas that once they beat them they didn't care about the NCAA's"

Sharpe - "That can be. Thanks for the call Jim. Steve, we've got you in Salina. What's up"

Post by: BrotherDDay on March 22, 2006, 06:00:37 PM: It's so bad, sometimes I can't pry myself away from it due to the inSanity (actually, I can). Sharpie and Bruiser never disagree with a caller no matter what they have to say -- they avoid conflict with callers at all costs.

Then, they treat their sidekick and former K-State golf coach "Lefty" Elliott like he's the world's greatest athlete since he tore up the playing fields of Silver Lake and Washburn back in his heyday. Basically, Lefty is Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Barry Bonds and Walter Payton combined.

Here's paraphrasing what I heard at one time last week:

Caller from Topeka: I've been a K-State season ticket holder for over 30 years. If they hire Bob Huggins, I'm DONE with K-State!
Sharpie: Yep, Huggins does have baggage. Next caller in Topeka.

Caller 2 from Topeka: What do you think about Bob Huggins?
Sharpie: Well, he would be an intersting option. He wins. Next caller...

and so on... :blahblah:
