Why is he not getting Darren Kents minutes?
Isn't he athletic enough to play with some of ku's bigmen ?
Does he not rebound ? Whats the deal? suck? :confused:

Do you ever listen to what coach says about Darren Kent? He likes Kent. Kent plays hard and is trying to do what Huggs' asks. Kent played 14 minutes in the 2nd half and he's not going anywhere.
Afeli is a guy Wooly had to chance and its obvious he's not a D1 basketball player. Essentually, he's the new Donnie Wallace, except from Africa and not Goddard.

Kent is a toothpick. He even said so.
He probably shouldn't even be on the team next season.
BH needs to give him a hint that he wont see any playing time in the future.

It's not entirely about Kent. It's about a much better player that should be in his roster spot. People would say the same type of thing about Serge but they know he's almost out of here.

No. I'll admit he's not a great player but, I also have to acknowledge the fact that Huggins likes something about Kent and his game b/c he says so publically and he plays him some compared to guys like Afeli and Dearby. Kent has got himself into coach's good graces for reasons many of us don't see. Seriously, the way I look at it if you're calling out Kent you're really calling out Huggs b/c he's the guy giving him the minutes.

The more I read this thread, the more I'm amused. The success or failure of Kent really has little to do with the success or failure of this team. I don't advocate threads like these, but the real disappointment in last night could be spread to plenty of other guys.
I guess I just don't quite understand what goes into the thought process here. "Harris didn't show, Wright wasn't there, Hoskins didn't do anything in the 2nd half, and Martin couldn't hit a shot so I think I'll make a post bashing Darren Kent." ?!?!
