Title: inside.kstatesports.com videos so far
Post by: ksuno1stunner on February 07, 2007, 07:46:04 AM
Alesana Alesana is impressive.  I don't watch OL videos very much, but you can tell he's very athletic from the first play shown, where he knocks some guy on his ass, jumps over him, and starts booking it downfield.

Gary Chandler is a beast of course.

Maybe even Aufner... A couple times in those clips, he was taking on some double teams and not moving an inch.

Those videos are pretty cool, but they really tell you very little about how good (or bad) a kid will be at K-State.

"but they really tell you very little about how good (or bad) a kid will be at K-State."

Sometimes.  I know after watching Leon Patton's video last year you could kinda tell he was going to be an early contributor.

Well you can certainly see burst and quickness and speed, but only on a handful of plays.  There is a reason that the coaches ask for film of complete games though.  The plays you make will get you attention, but the plays you don't make or the plays you take off will make a difference on whether you earn a scholarship offer.  Unless of course you are a complete stud, then they'll take chances with a few plays off in HS.

FAN is right on.

They could probably compile a video of every recruit that would have us all saying WTF as well.
