Sometimes you could hear the chairbacks over the students.  Shameful.

Had to watch the second half on TV. My friend got sick (turned as green as a Baylor uni) and I had to take her home from the game at halftime (and they wouldnt let me back in). Sounded pretty good. Best TV quote (of the half I got on TV): Commentator: If I was bennet, I would have Hoskins teach me an offensive move or two.

Oh, and chum, thats BS

Think K-State vs. USC (football) in Manhattan loud.

Amazingly loud over the TV.
Very impressive K-Staters.

A guy I know that has missed a handful of games since the Bram opened said it ranked in the Top 5 all-time...relatively speaking.

But nothing will ever touch Ahearn.

After the Maybank spinning lay-up, it was insanely loud!!  And I must admit the hands in the air after a made three looks pretty damn cool sitting at home.

Everything is copied from ku/Duke and I've given up whining about it.  They perfected the crowd discipline "traditions" that everyone does and that make the crowd loud/intimidating.  Without any sort of tradition established among the students the cheat cards that someone has been putting out have, like it or not, had a HUGE effect on the student section.

Oh well.  I can claim street cred for being there through the Asbury/Wooly years but who gives a &@#% really?  Isn't it more fun winning?  I'll deal with my missing soul later.

We should blackmail Ropinfeet (with his love for porn) to post over here. On the other hand, we could just make a pr0n board like on Warzone and we wouldn't even have to blackmail him..

That "lets go wildcats" chant lasted forever.  Really cool.

Koug, I don't know who did the newspapers first but I'm sure ku fans think they invented it.

All ku fans are born with a newspaper in hand and promptly tear it up on instinct.

And the Fans were insanely loud on the tube, my fiance kept telling me to turn the tv down.

Listening to the broadcast over the internet, it was very loud and Wyatt was much into it.

I'm gonna have to find a way to get back to Manhattan and get into a game.  I love going to games where the crowd is really into it.

I miss my college days.  :(

Crowd sounded awesome on TV. Could plainly hear the "momma's boy" chant, the number of fouls being called out, and the atmosphere just sounded freakin awesome. It didnt seem like I was watching a game that was being played at the Fred, it sounded much more intimidating. Good work by all.

After made free throws, are they doing something new? It sounded like "whoosh, k-s-u" after makes. If so, thats awesome.

the number of fouls being called out

Okay, I'm glad the students are trying to organize some crap to get people into the games, but that is one thing that's got to go. There were people chanting "1! 1! 1!" when some Mizzou bench player got his first foul...with around 6 minutes left in the game.  :blank:
