Huggins to much of a pussy to call them out.
-
Dollar signs
-
I LOVE BOB HUGGINS! WE ARE GOOD AT BASKETBALL
-
Another good showing from the students though and since they're the only ones for the most part making noise in The Fred, Huggs doesn't mind a few crappy chairbacked fans.
-
The blue hairs in section 7 actually represented better tnite than any other game in recent memory.
-
Agreed. Liked Huggs saying explaining how he told the "old folks" to get up.
-
There was this enormous fatass behind us that kept saying "down in front"....the guy next to me got tired of it and said...you'll have to go all the way down to Row 1 and work up from there.
The guy shut up after that.

Mangino was that the game?

You should probably work on not screwing up the sentence when trying to make a funny (especially a very played out, GPC-like funny).
-
Every fan has to have a role. The chairback's role is to fork over cash.
-
Did Bill Snyder stand and boo?
-
BOOOOOO

You could tell when huggs told them to get up they were excited. They could finally stand and not feel embarrassed.

So he seriously turned around and told them to get up! That's awesome.
I was proud of the folks aroud me...stood for the majority of the game.
Sorry, but the band is the biggest crowd killer I've ever seen...at times...and some of the stuff they put on the video board....WTF?
Play some music over the sound system and keep the place rocking...
-
Well he turned and did the "Billy Walker raise the roof" but wasn't nearly as good as Bill. :)
And nearly the whole place stood for the final 12-13 minutes of the game. I've never seen that happen.

Canned music blows.

The Wabash was great. The fight song is so-so with the pep band and we need to find one more good/great song for the band to play instead of hearing crappy music over the sound system. It was 80s nite so it'll slide, but by ku/Oklahoma etc we need the band to kick out the jams. Why is it so hard to learn one more good song?
WTF?
-
Well, I hate to say it but the basketball pep band has SUCKED for year. Back in the Ahearn days the Pep Band could get that place rockin.
One of the best things was when the Pep band would start out with Wildcat Victory real soft and start to build right before the team hit the floor for introductions and the tip.
-
The pep band used to be something that the band types really wanted to do. For a good long while, the biggest reason anyone played in the marching band was to be eligible to play for the pep band.
A winning team will fix this too.

Yea, that whole fight song and Wabash thing they play all the time is a downer. If they played crappy music over the loudspeaker besides the Jock Jams song it would be more of a crowd killer.
-
Maybe it's their timing I didn't like...like starting about 10 seconds before we're gonna shoot FT's.
And I will go to my deathbed hating "The Band is HOT".
:)
I'm still just in shock at how awesome the whole crowd was last night...and the students, once again, were AWESOME.
