Clayton rattled off all the NFL teams he had spoken with this week. Dolphins, Raiders, Vikings, Texans, Bengals, Eagles, Jets. Clayton, K-State’s invisible man last season, will suit up at least once more, at 3 p.m. Saturday in the 58th annual Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
Check out this posting from Wednesday’s Senior Bowl workouts at the Web site NFLdraftcountdown.com:
At running back, the big story is Kansas State’s Thomas Clayton. Even though he fumbled and had a little trouble catching the ball, it’s not a stretch to say that Clayton may already be the best pure running back on the North team.

Smoke and mirrors.
Of course, I can see some of the 'dumb' NFL teams (raiders) taking a look at him just because of his measurables. I'm going to laugh my ass off if he gets drafted.
Actually, now that I think about it, I really hope he does. Right to the Raiders. Bury that program 6 feet under and leave it there.
-
Why do you not want him to succeed? That's pretty weird.
-
There are plenty of college disappointments that make it in the NFL.
-
Sure there are, and it seems like "WildCatzPhreak" has a personal vendetta against "T-Gunn".

"Just when I think I'm out... they suck me back in."
I'm with WildCatzPhreak on this one all the way. clayton was all mouth while he was here. If he would have been half as good as he told everyone he was going to be he would have been an All-American. As it is, he will be remembered as "that big muscular running back that went to the ground as soon as somebody touched him".
My prediction: He gets shot in a night club with 5 years and that's the only way his name is ever mentioned again.

I don't have a vendetta against him, I just think he was the 4th best RB on our team.
And I hate the Raiders, so what's wrong with me wanting them to recruit prospects that are nowhere near NFL worthy?
-
If our Oline could produce HOLES and we didn't need rbs' to pass block or catch passes then he would have been no. 1 starter. He fumbled the ball in crucial games so...I take it back.

Don't underestimate what coaches can do to players when they throw them in the doghouse. Taco spent a few years in the league after not playing at all for a year while in Snyder's dog house.

You're smarter than to defend Clayton... what's the matter with you?
On another note, where have you been? I haven't seen you yet this semester and and I figured I better made sure that you came back.

Someone will give him a chance, just a guess the Broncos. They're not shy about character flaws, i.e. Maurice Clarett.

FYI: Only the dumb kids actually go to class.

Hollywood was just on espn radio. Took the high road on Prince and KSU. The hosts were suprised and said he'd be justified in holding a grudge. One said "you'd think a guy capable of being drafted is good enough for Kansas State."

35 RB Thomas Clayton 5-10 220 Kansas State
Under the radar. Flashes NFL ability. (mid-Day 2)

what is that a tattoo of on T-Gun's shoulder? (not the web) it looks like a moldy golfball sitting on top of a stump with seaweed on it.
-
Anyone know how he finished statistically in the game?
Just curious... but couldn't find it.

I tivo'd the game and just watched it last nite. Things went something like this:
1 yard run
1 yard run
-3 yard catch
7 or 8 yard catch (amazing flip from Tyler Palko on the run) fumbles it out of bounds at the 3 yard line
1 yard run
3 yard run
9 or 10 yard run just as time was running out
Compared to Rutgers white boy he looked awful. He still has no idea how to read his blocks. The corner backs can't play up at the line and he cut back against a pulling guard (and into a linebacker) instead of taking it wide with a cornerback 6 yards off the line.
Oh well. I rooted for him but he still sucks. Funniest moment: Palko fumbles a snap and steals one of Clayton's plays, Clayton does a loud/frustrated clap.

Was that the play where he leaked out of the backfield by the center expecting to get the pass? That was about the only play I saw, and you could hear him clapping as the pass went 35 yards down the left side of the field.
-
No that was the play where Palko fumbled the snap.

Typical Clayton game vs big 12 competition. Hard to hate the guy, easy to see he &@#%ing sucks.
