Yeah, they may get Stephenson or cole, but crap. What a terrible class.
-
I could have sworn it was better than ours? We got our 2 stars early, they are settling for 2 star leftovers we didn't want.
-
Yeah, they may get Stephenson or cole,
Nope, they won't.
-
I really did think that they would pick up some decent players late. Aside from the JUCOs (seriously, every single juco player is a 3-star with a 5.5 rating), they have only five 3-star high school players. I don't think they'll pick up another 3-star. I would have been very concerned if they had a class like last years. That was a very solid class. Despite us getting our asses kicked this year, I think our talent alone will be enough to once again dominate ku. I'm not trying to be biased, this year's class is awful.

Stars don't matter.
-
Cole would be a difference maker. I hope the Jayfags don't get him.
-
Not that it really matters, but how in the world did Murphy get a 4th star as the 5th best player in the state (and the 4th best player only has 3 stars.) Is there that much talent in the state this year?
Am glad I'm not paying for that kind of analysis.
-
Your two best players (Watts and Campbell) were former walk-ons, and you guys are over here talking about how many stars someone has. Brilliant.

Crabtree was almost murdered by the ku slant folk. He is simply playing to them.
-
Where did this myth originate that Watts was a walkon? He delayed his fulltime enrollment for a semester, but he wasn't a walkon.
-
ku now has one 4-star, twelve 3-stars, and seven 2-stars. #47 overall according to Rivals.
It's a pretty solid recruiting class, and it could get better if we can get Stephenson and Cole.

That was after the greatest ku football season since 1995 (The finished 3-5 in conference play)
It's all downhill from that class now, as we've seen from their class of 07 recruits.

So grayshirts are not considered walk-ons?
FS Marcus Watts -- The undisputed leader of the Kansas State defense, Watts missed games late in the season after suffering a broken right hand while blocking a punt. He returned for the Texas Bowl. Another former in-state walk-on, Watts will be an inspirational leader next season as long as he stays healthy.

no, grayshirts are not considered walkons. when they enroll fulltime, they receive a full athletic scholarship.
-
Look at Lamark Brown and then Ryan Murphy and tell me Murphy deserves 4 stars. That is a joke.
-
Stephenson to OU.
Booyah.

Is it guaranteed? Or is it more like if we have one available we'll try to fit you in?
-
Well, we lost out on Stephenson, but Dezmon Briscoe, a 6'2 3-star WR out of Texas just committed to ku today over Boise State, Iowa, and Mizzou. He was the leading receiver for Cedar Hill, one of the best teams in Texas last season (16-0), and he is best friends with William Cole.
ku's recruiting class is really shaping up nicely.

Great, now shouldn't you be back on the phog circle jerk convincing each other that all of KSU's recruits are D1AAA guys and opining about how Crabtree inflates KSU's stars??
