Great topic, tard.

But I did watch the game, and NE was very lucky. Insanely lucky.

Rumor is that Marty is getting fired.

Chiefs should pick him up.

I'm hearing the same thing.  14-2 and you get fired... wow!  On the other hand with that kind of talent they should have won the whole thing.  Happy trails Marty.

It wasn't a poor coaching job. They had the lowest amount of TO all year (16) and then have four in one game. Also, all of the personal fouls. That was an inexperienced team compared to the Pats. Marty did amazing with the Chargers this year and if he gets fired, I have no idea who will replace him. That job is a HC's wet dream though.

Marty's playoff record is hard to ignore.

I agree, but there are several other coaches/people that haven't done too hot in the playoffs. Peyton Manning is an example.. The Chiefs would also work..

Marty is no Bill Parcells.

Bill would win a championship with that team.

As they said on ESPN Radio this morning, it was the kids vs the Pros, it was the Seniors vs the Freshman.

The Pros or the Seniors win this one almost every time.

The two teams with the most talkers, most tats, most bling get schooled again by the grownups.

Marty's coaching did not lose that game.  He opened up the offense, which was always his downside.

Thats not entirely true.

The Pats made their running game inconsistent. Rivers then couldn't beat them. Stop the run , make their qb win the game. Didn't happen.

There were some really bad calls by Marty in the game.

You shouldn't teach your DB's to intercept and then not get down.

Marty this time lost it in a new way compared to here and Cleveland(fumbles).

Marty doesn't know how to peak properly.

The last few games, SD was playing just well enough to win.   New England, on the other hand, has been ramping it up.

Any team that goes into the playoffs should understand that if you're barely getting by before going in, and you get a bye week, you're going to have problems.   Marty has never had a team go into the playoffs still reaching it's peak. more like.. trying just to get by.

Bellicheck knows how to get his team peaking.
