Now that OJ has seen his friend and former teammate injured and out for a year, does he rethink his commitment to USC? If he truly is thinking of one-and-gone, does he decide to play ball at USC and chance a similar (or worse) injury before earning the big paycheck? Does he withdraw his commitment and sit out a year? The guy's a lottery pick either way, but is there too much to risk in hitting the hardwoods at the Galen Center?

he already signed his LOI so another school is out of the question. I haven't ever even thought that he would play a minute at USC though...

No, He need to play a little college ball to finish growing up.

Does the LOI commit the scholarship money or is that something that is separate from the commitment process? OJ's playing for USC has always been suspect in my mind, too. They dude good take a year off, hitchhike Europe (I recommend a stop in Amsterdam) for several months, make appearance money on the side -- never have to sweat the "whole year out of basketball thing" -- and come back to the 'States to cash that first multi-million dollar check.

OJ also wants to cash in on his name. Going Europe wont add to his value.
