Anyone see any players on the list we could have had?

christ, look up their committment dates yourself if it seems so interesting to you. there are only like 3 on that list that are any better than young, so it shouldnīt take that long.
-
Did Duquesne really sign 4 Juco point guards?
I remember when Mac Hopson (last guy on the list) was a Wooly recruit.

First off, several of those players never made grades and no one ended up with them. Of the top 25 JUCOs there were only 3 or 4 still available when Huggs was hired and Hannah (at #25) was the only PG. One of the other uncommitted players was Blake Young who was listed as a combo guard at #8. The pickings are pretty poor in the spring to pick up players.

Young is not exactly playing well.
:blahblah: :blahblah: :blahblah:

"Stew" has been playing better, our problems have surpassed that of a PG issue.

I remember Hopson. He's grown up a bunch, in the old rivals updates he's a skinny little kid. Not a star, but a key contributor on an overachieving Washington State team. The younger Bennett seems to have them going in the right direction, 14-2 and ranked #22 on the year with wins over Gonzaga, USC, Arizona State, and Arizona.

i thought they were going to make more noise than they did last year. it took them another year to get anything going, but they had some decent young players last year. and young bennett looks to be keeping pretty close to his fatherīs style.

Speaking of JUCO guards, someone on GP is saying Evans got booted from Butler.
-
Tyree got no mention in the write-up I saw about the Butler game at Garden City on Saturday night???
-
You'd have to go to the game to be in the write up.
-
Butler was in command despite leading scorer Tyree Evans, who returned late from the Christmas break, barely playing.

Thanks for the correction. I guess that calls into question the validity of the poster b/c he said Evans didn't go to the game. Just looked at the article.

Actually, that was an older article.
This article on last nights game makes it sound like Smithson benched him for being lazy:

Evans is a 2008 recruit IMO. Thorrnton needs to be the focus.

Randy's a little touchy, he's going through withdrawl.
