Title: Are we facing the strongest bowl opponent?

Boise State(12-0)
Auburn(10-2)
California(9-3)
Iowa(6-6)
Oregon State(9-4)
Minnesota(6-6)
Alabama(6-6)
Rutgers(10-2)

I'd say Rutgers is definitely better than Boise State, Iowa, Minnesota, Alabama, and Oregon State. You could make a case for Cal with the scheduling differences. But all in all the only bowl opponent better than Rutgers is probably Auburn. Funny that we'd be playing one of the strongest bowl opponents in the last bowl slot.

Oregon State is better than Iowa, trust me. Move Iowa down just before Minnesota and you've got my ranking.

1. We weren't going to the BCS

2. We didn't deserve the Cotton Bowl or Holiday Bowl

3. Playing Rutgers, a team that was in the BCS picture until the last day of the season, is better then playing a 6-6 Iowa or Minnesota team

4. The Sun Bowl is in the middle of the afternoon on a Friday

5. The only thing that bothers me is that Oklahoma State is in the Independence Bowl but I get the feeling that alot of you weren't fired up about the possibility of going there anyway

Had Georgia Tech beaten Wake Forest.....The Cats would be Alamo Bowl bound facing a 6-6 Iowa team.
