Who do we root for this weekend in the WVU vs Rutgers match up in order for the Gator Bowl to go Big XII?

i think rutgers, but i dunno

Rutgers. If WVU loses again...they'll have another loss and Texas would be a better pick for the Gator. That might bump Rutgers' out of the Texas Bowl however but I dont' care. I want the Gator to take a Big XII team.

Rutgers!!! GO RU. I think its &@#%ing terrible that if RU would loose 2 games and drop all the way to the Texas Bowl...ewww. I always cheer for Rutgers, their all-everything fullback is the pride of (my hometown) wildcat land.

Always cheer for the team that you bet on....
Hope this helps.

As was posted below about the Gator, the choice of WV or UT might be just as dependent or even more so on who the Gator chooses from the ACC. The Gator Bowl isn't real excited about taking the ACC Champ game loser b/c the ACC Champ game is at the same location (Alltel Stadium).
The Gator Bowl doesn't anticipate Georgia Tech to travel well IF they lose the ACC Champ game and return to play in the same stadium for their bowl game (VT did the same last year and didn't travel well and the GB lost money), but has agreed to take GT b/c the ACC has agreed to buy a certain number of tickets.
The Gator Bowl really wants GT to win the ACC CG and then they can take Clemson who they anticipate will travel very well.
So, not only does a Rutgers win likely help us (they don't want Louisville even at 11-1 and Louisville might end up BCS anyway) b/c it give WV another loss, but a GT win helps b/c the Gator would get its fan pull from Clemson and likely select UT. A WV win and GT loss probably ensures the Gator will select WV. A WV loss and GT loss throws things up in the air a bit, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Gator went with WV there to get the fans.
