Independence
Holiday
Sun
Alamo
Cotton (even though it's not likely)
Gator


Unacceptable:

Texas
Insight

ANY bowl game would be acceptable at this point.  Its been two years and its time we got back in the groove of annual bowl trips.

I disagree.  Acceptable includes Insight, Alamo, and anything above.

Unacceptable would be anything below the Insight, including the Texas and Independence bowls.  Severely unacceptable would include any at-large bowls should the unthinkable happen and OSU/ku meet 7 seven wins and by some ungodly movement we end up at an at-large bowl due to bowl committee idiocricy.

Alamo - ESPN HD -140 million households.

Insight - NFL Network - 30 million households.

The choice is obvious what to hope for if we want the vast majority of the fan base to be able to watch the game and the ability to showcase the program accross the country.  All in all, more financial backing makes it a far better bowl experience for the program, better name opponent, feasible driving distance for most of Kansas down I-35.  From a recruiting standpoint and from a fan standpoint, this one is a no brainer.

Nobody disagrees with getting the Alamo over the Insight. But we would want the Insight over the Independence. Catfan200102 said that he wouldn't want the insight.
