Moreira is out, everything I'm hearing now is that Figrs won't play at all, and Jordy still can't go every down. Can James Johnson take more snaps at WR? We are definately hurting.

We'll be fine
Yamon (probably)
Nelson
Wilson
Gonzalez
Norwood
Mastrud
Pooschke
Patton
Johnson
That is enough pass catchers for anybody.

A) We're going to have to lean on the running game more this week with or without Figurs.
B) If Figurs is out, we're going to need a good ballgame from an unexpected target; Wilson, Gonzalez, or Brown.
C) We will have to try some more empty sets with Johnson or Patton spread out and try to get them the ball in space.
D) I expect to see more screens, draws, and shovel passes to keep ku honest.
E) We'll probably see more of the double tight sets from earlier in the Big 12 season, but probably some more offense out of those sets.
F) The key for our offense will be not to turn the ball over. I think we'll still be able to get some points, but we can't give ku anything easy on their home field. Make them drive the field to score.

Yamon - out
Nelson - limited
Wilson - inconsistent
Gonzalez - slow, inconsistent
Norwood - TE
Mastrud - TE
Pooschke - TE
Patton - RB
Johnson - RB
...I'm not feeling great about this.

So we might lose. That's why we play the game. I think we've got some guys there that can make enough plays to win this game. We're going to have to drive the ball on ku. No reason to think we can't do it 4 or 5 times and score 24-30 points. Now we'll just have to stop them some and win the field position battle.

i'm going with 'E', the two te sets.
mastrud and norwood could have big games.
if pooschke is in, look for it to be a run play.

Nice on Rusty.
The thing these MBs have showed over and over this week is how spoiled we are. We are still adjusting to going into ku week and realizing they might possibily give us a game. We got so used to all those laughers during the 90s that despite the last 2 years we want that back so badly and still expect. It just proves the fact that any fan that really says they like it when their rival hired a decent coach b/c "it'll make the games mean something again" is full of it.
Make fun of Mangino all we want, but the man has built a competitive football team that doesn't lay over and plays physical football. They don't get blown out very often and they compete.
This is going to be a tough game. I believe we have the better team and if we show up and limit our mistakes and play our brand of football we'll win. With or without Yamon or Watts or Baldwin and despite the win against Texas, which has been a rediculous point all week. If we as K-State fans truly believe we have the team we think we have, we should win, but it won't be easy.

We haven't had great WR production the entire year and we have won 7 games.
We are going to win the 8th tomorrow and we still won't have great WR production.
No need to worry.
As long as whoever Josh throws the ball to catches it, no problem.

Reminder:
We play ku.
