I mean literally, crazy.
I'm taking the day off, and I'm sitting here watching a replay of the Colorado ISU game and it's halftime. Former CU player Charles Johnson goes up to Hawkins to interview him as he is coming off the field, and this is the exchange:
Johnson:
Coach, 314 yards of total offense...
The Hawk, screaming:
God dangit CJ, we're so close to being a good team, we're going to be back to when you were at quarterback. When these guys grasp the little things you realize how freakin' good this team can be?
Johnson:
Is that the Hawk love we've been hearing about?
The Hawk, screaming:
That's what I'm talkin' about. We just gotta grasp it. A couple of plays here or there we can get these guys out of here.[/]
....
Johnson:
I think I've just been Hawked.

I didn't even realize they played until just now.

After reading/listening to that I actually like Hawkins more than I did before I read/listened to it.
:frown:
-
I 100% disagree with Hawkins..
I think Colorado needs to grasp the big things and little things to be even average or just outside the bowl hunt...
It's going to be bad in Boulder for years to come.

I just want him to beat Nebraska.
Nobody can make kids cry at Nebraska better than a Colorado ass whippin.

I was listening to the broadcast during that interview and I got a little fired up myself. The announcers in the booth were seriously worried that CJ may have gotten hurt during the interview. :woohoo:
-
"CJ" = best radio personality ever.
He's awesome.
-
It wouldn't bother me one bit if CU never won another game. Ever.

That was wierd.
