Well they usually have these threads after the games.
At phog.net they're attempting to pre-empt this and move these stories up to before the game. CPAHawk starts us off:
I take it you don't live in Manhattan.
By the way, I got flipped off today while driving by some 20-year old college dork because I have a Jayhawk front license plate on my vehicle. It was my lunch break and I was running a few errands and had some extra time so I proceeded to follow the kid for about ten minutes. After about a dozen consecutive turns the kid got stuck at a red light with traffic in front of him. I had my fun so I let him go.
I look forward to seeing him again. The vehicle was not exactly a normal vehicle so it should be easy to remember.
Was the kid driving a pick-up truck?

I don't see a pick-up is "not exactly a normal vehicle" especially around here. But since it's not a Honda he may not recognize what it is.

I can't for the life of me imagine where the kid could have been going for ten minutes in Manhattan... Hell, you can get from Tuttle Creek to the Seth Childs Cinema in about 8.

Excellent point. Perhaps he forgot something at home and had to turn around, inadvertently giving CPA extended pleasure.

Apparently this was in regards to my post about the KSU weenie who flipped me off the other day. Must have been this guy's boyfriend or something. I just love Internet tough guys.

You're not alone. I went to the ku/KSU game last year and a guy knocked me the F out on a cheap shot, as well as threw my fiance to the ground coming after me. I wasn't even paying attention (even if I had been, it wouldn't have helped - I was totally housed). yes, I'm guilty for exchanging some smack talk, but this is a wee bit over the line.
Someone questions the story and he backs it up with this brilliance:
Great point TET! I was talking trash and exchanging verbal abuse with this guy. He was with some of his buddies and they got involved, so my Fiance and I walked away. They follwed, but we kept walking. Finally I turned around to tell them to just forget it, and one of them charges at me, tosses the lovely lady to the pavement and clocks me across the left cheek/jawbone. My reflexes weren't exactly Walker Texas Ranger-like, so I was a relatively easy target.
I don't mind getting hit (although this douche took it to the next level), but dropping my lady is another story.
Another ku poster jumps in to explain it is all about the Wildcat inferiority complex:
Fellas, it all relates to the K-state inferiority complex when it comes to ku. Its always been this way and always will, regardless of how many national titles they may win, how many times they'd defeat ku in any sport, they'll still feel below us. That is why many would resort to physical violence (as I'm sure there may be some Hawk fans stupid enough to lower themselves to fighting, but there are surely more KSU fans who would do just that. That complex they have is a very strong thing. Like I said, always been that way, always will.

The classic in all of this is the usual Squawklogic:
When KSU guys want to fight us, it's because they have an inferiority complex.
When we want to fight KSU guys, it's because we're just looking forward to a good brawl.
Damn . . . that is one F'ed up group of fans.
