Title: What is our record w/ku's schedule?
Post by: fatty fat fat on November 14, 2006, 11:31:34 PM
NW State W
UL-Monroe W
@Toledo W
South Florida W
@NU L
aTm W
OSU W
@Baylor L
CU W
@ISU W

conf record of ku oppies: 17-24
KSU's oppies up to this point are: 23 - 25

8-2? What a flippin easy schedule. I guess you could say a "L" vs S.Fla, but then we would be 7-3. Still much goodlier than 5-5.

NW State W (Meier)

South Florida W (Meier)

OSU L (Freeman)
@Baylor L (Freeman)
CU W (Freeman)
@ISU W (Freeman)

6-4 because it takes longer for Prince to realize that Meier really and truly sucks.

I would say a win over Baylor as well because it was after we got hot and had Freeman and the new RBs in.. We would actually probably only have one loss with ku's schedule and that would be against NU, two losses max.

christ, that makes no sense at all.

Why a loss to OSU at home w/freeman? And why not a win @ Baylor w/your logic of improvement?

we would lose to A&M with meier in. but the rest would be Ws other than NU.

It makes perfect sense.  The defense and special teams carry Meier through the first four games but he folds up like a cheap suit at the first hint of competition.  Freeman had a tough game the first time out (11/33 0TD 3INT) so the OSU game where he'd finally have replaced Meier is a loss for sure, no way to get around that adjustment to game speed.  I put Baylor in the loss column because: a) following up a tough first start at home with a road game wouldn't have been the best scenario, and b) Baylor's offense played better midseason than they did earlier.  That one is certainly debatable though.  Once he secured the starting spot, Freeman adapted in a big hurry so the CU & ISU games would've been wins for sure.  I'll stick with 6-4 though you could make an argument for 7-3.

OSU was his first start. I'm assuming in our hypothetical world that Dylan got the hook vs aggy similar to real-life w/the baylor game.

anyone you blew my whole point of the post, and that makes me mad.  :mad: :mad:

NW State W
UL-Monroe W
@ Toledo W (some D and ST with points but also some O points)
USF W (same story)
@ NU L (lack of O)
aTm L(same story JF comes in midway through)
OSU W?L?W?L?(Freeman probably starts but like this year struggles would take reality like come through to pull it off)
@ BU W (CU like pull through comes up big big win for the year)
CU W (hell we beat them on the road what makes in the bill seem different?)
@ ISU W (ku can do it why cant we( no but there season is over its all done))

so...... 8-3 or 7-4 really I see 7-4 not saying OSU for sure but you never really know.
