This is most likely the biggest win the majority of players on this team have experienced, the seniors were around for the Big 12 championship, but most weren't involved much. So how will they respond to huge success?
Not too mention, Prince and the staff's biggest win.
Prince has been preaching about being a "playoff team" in November, and winning out. Plus, its ku this week, rivalary week. So you wouldn't think there should be much of a let down. However, with a win this big...who knows?
I think alot of the pressure is off of us, but what will that translate into? A lousy week of practice, an inflated head, or an underestimation of ku?
I think that we should be fine, and win in Lawrence, but I am a little curious...

If the coaching staff can fire them up enough to believe they could beat TX, they shouldn't have much problem getting 'em amped for ku.
-
we are getting better and better.

If we can't win @ ku then there are serious problems.
-
I'd say some of the more serious problems are behind us now. The good news is there's still lots of room for improvement. If the guys bring it in practice this week, keep learning, keep believing, ku is the one that's in serious trouble.

Prince was great on the show with Wyatt. Of course he was wearing his cowboy hat but more importantly he said, "we're going to give them a few hours to really enjoy this, tomorrow the coaches are going to be back watching film and we'll get the guys ready for next week. I've looking forward to going into that place to play and I think we've got their full attention." Trust me, he knows how big ku-KSU is and he won't allow anyone to not be prepared.

Prince is a Kansas boy. He knows the importance.

this is just another in a long line of tests for this new staff. coaching and playing after a monster win and now expectations to close the season out with a win over your rival. IMO, it is a great proving ground for coaches in how they do in games they are expected to win rather than ones you aren't. tex win is awesome, but the truely great never let down against inferior opponents. ku will fight hard the whole game, so we will need another solid 60 minutes to win this one.
