Woot, was skimming through the blogs and ran across this!

"— K-State is budgeting to replace its turf next year, Currie said. The current FieldTurf surface, installed in 2002 at a cost of $850,000, is showing signs of wear."

I doubt there will be a new logo, but the color is a good point. They did slightly change the color on the Willie head so maybe this group is open to some change.

Imagine Purple field, Purple side wall, and all purple uniforms. Socks to helmet all purple. It would be EMAWzing.

i dont think the powercat on the turf we have now is dark enough. amost looks pinkish.

so im hoping on the new turf the powercat will be darker.
