From tjeldridge24 (via Twitter): Where does Kansas State's Daniel Thomas rank in the country's best tailbacks?
He's one of the top six or seven in the country. The guy is big, fast and very versatile. He probably could be a good college football player at more different positions than any player in the nation. I talked to a few of my friends who called some K-State games and they all talked about how Thomas has to be the most underrated player in the country. The one thing he must do to help generate more buzz is produce better against elite defenses. If there's a knock on him, that's it.

U no Danny may be Heisman material, if KSU does great this season. :kstatriot:

Uh, more like top 3. He will rush for 1500+ yards and be a household name by the end of the season.

right. Then the Reggie Bush/Carson Palmer/Jason White of next year will win it and be at best a MEH player in the league. As long as Daniel Thomas gets a good contract in the NFL, that's all that matters to me.

Unfortunately, KSU won't win enough games for D. Thomas to get any Heisman hype.
