Title: GRCOAT Breakdown

Michael Beasley, 6-10 forward Fitchburg, Mass.

Statistically speaking: Rivals.com's No. 1 prospect averaged 20.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and 4.5 blocks last year at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va.

Huggins speaking: Obviously, Mike is a special player. I think rarely does a player combine his athleticism and skill level. He is capable of playing four positions on the floor on both ends of the court. We look for Mike to be a tremendous difference-maker for us.

Bill Walker, 6-6 forward

Cincinnati, Ohio

Statistically speaking: Rivals.com's No. 6 prospect averaged 21.7 points and 10.7 rebounds last year while helping North College Hill High to a second straight state title.

Huggins speaking: Everybody says that Bill's weakness is his perimeter shooting, and I've watched him a bunch. He really can shoot it. He's just kind of attack-oriented. He attacks the rim. But when they back off of you, you have to jump up and make it, and he can do that.

Dominique Sutton, 6-4 guard

Lenoir, N.C.

Statistically speaking: Averaged 19.7 points as a sophomore at Durham (N.C.) Jordan High.

Huggins speaking: Dominique gets to the ball better than any high school player that I have seen. He is extremely athletic with great anticipation. He consistently makes plays around the ball. He is potentially a great player at both ends of the floor.

Fred Brown, 6-3 guard

West Palm Beach, Fla.

Statistically speaking: Averaged 12.3 points and 6.0 assists last season at William T. Dwyer High in West Palm Beach.

Huggins speaking: Fred is an exceptional passer. He has great floor vision with quick feet and is extremely long. He has the potential to be a lockdown defender and a player that others will want to play with because of his great vision and passing ability.

Jacob Pullen, 6-1 guard

Maywood, Ill.

Statistically speaking: Averaged 21 points, 8 assists and 5 steals last year for Proviso East High in Maywood.

Huggins speaking: Jacob gives us someone with exceptional speed with the ball. He brings great ability and great personality to the floor. He comes from a great high school program that produced Doc Rivers, Dee Brown, Shannon Brown and Michael Finley. Jacob certainly has the potential to be a player of that caliber at this level.

Sutton is the one I'm looking forward to learning more about.
I've seen a ton of Walker + Beas footage, but everything I've read is how Sutton has been exploding as of late and seems to be really coming into his own on the court.  When a kid gets confidence in his game like that he can make significant progress, makes me want to see more of him.

There weren't 2 consensus top 10 HS players in that class.  Probably one of the Top 5 JUCO players in Mitch though, but this class is the greatest we've ever had more than likely.

Don't be too greedy, be happy with what Huggins brought us.  I'll take this class ever other year.  I don't think we're going to get this every year, but hopefully every few years while consistently pulling in a Top 100 HS player or two every year along with Top 10 JUCO players now and then.

Indeed it does.  Amazingly, though, bad font + bad slogan = KILLER GRAPHIC!  Maybe it's Bill Walker.
