Title: A Look at Oklahoma State...
Post by: Oklahoma_Cat on January 19, 2010, 10:32:41 AM
Hate these f*ckers.  Not because they are good or anything, but because they are so damn unimportant in terms of life.  F*cking gnats or something.

I'm in that sh*thole of a town once or twice a week for business, and I want to be able to wear my EMAW with a sh*t-eating grin and break their hearts.  F You, Eskimo Joes.

"Keaton" Paige.  Gay name, even gayer player.

I hope that the Junkyard Katz unleash a holy butt-f*cking on these bitches and smack the cheese fries out of their mouths.

Plus losing to the Pokes pretty much cost us a trip to the dance last year.

Title: A Look at Oklahoma State
Post by: rak21 on January 21, 2010, 11:28:23 AM
The Cowboys are 14-4 (2-2) with losses to Rhode Island in Connecticut and at Oklahoma and Baylor. The Cowboys return 3 starters from a squad that posted a 23-12 overall record, including a 9-7 mark in conference play in 2008-09. The Cowboys are projected to finish 6th in the Big XII.

The Cowboys are lead by G's James Anderson, Obi Muonelo and Keiton Page and F Marshall Moses. Anderson is averaging 22 points/game (leads the team), 6 rebounds/game and 2 assists/game. Anderson entered his name into the NBA Draft last season but pulled out which was a surprise to everyone. The OSU star ripped Texas for 35 points in Austin on Feb. 10. He also torched Oklahoma for 37 points in the regular-season finale March 7 in Norman.

Muonelo is averaging 12 points/game, 5 rebounds/game and 2 assists/game. Only six players averaged more rebounds last season than Muonelo. The shortest among them was 6'7". Their average height was 6'9". Four were at least 6'10". Two were taken in the NBA draft. He is difficult to guard from the outside because of his size and conditioning.

Page is averaging 10 points/game, 2 rebounds/game and 2 assists/game. Page had three 20-point games in his first season and reached double figures 14 times. The Cowboys went 11-3 in those games. He was one of three OSU players to rank in the top 10 in the Big 12 in three-point percentage, and he ended up with 63 three-pointers.

Moses is averaging 12 points/game, 10 rebounds/game (leads the team) and 1 assist/game. Once Big XII play started last season Moses went from averaging 2 points and 2 rebounds/game to averaging 9 points and 9 rebounds/game.

G Ray Penn leads the team in assists with 3 assists/game. Penn averaged 22 points/game, 2 rebounds/game, 4 assists/game and 2 steals/game at Travis HS/Richmond, Texas and is looked upon to replace Byron Eaton. He's a blur with the ball, and, although he only averages 8 points/game, he's a scorer first.

The Cowboys have concerns with their depth and their strength is their backcourt. I expect the Cats to exploit their advantages on the boards and behind the arch (they won't go 1-12 again) to pull away in this game.

OK.  Then do a search on a topic before you start a new one on the same thing.  Then post in it if you desire.

I don't think that is treating you unfairly.

Love the drama and anguish.  Much more entertaining than your average preview thread.  Hope it results in bloodshed.

cf0304, I heard cyclist insulted your mother.

LOL...these are officially my new favorite threads.  Absolutely fantastic.

CF0304-when did you invent these "previews" of upcoming games?  I had never seen one before coming to this site.

I've been doing these preview threads for years now. They are mine and they will continue to be mine! If you want to continue to post your own pathetic attempt at a preview thread that's fine, this is America I'm not denying you that, just DO NOT confuse it with mine by combining it with my thread. That's it! That's all you have to do and then there's NO controversy and everybody's happy!

Post by: Sal Paradise on January 21, 2010, 03:49:24 PM
Does anyone know if that poster catsfan2095868689679070707097979 is still doing his "A look at" thread?  Man I loved that guys insight he provided, and for the last few games I haven't been able to find it.  I'm sure it takes him a lot of time to put together all of that cutting edge info so maybe he just hasn't posted it yet.  Can someone let me know what's up?

The reason I joined this board is because of the intelligence that the majority of the people who post here seem to exhibit. If we're going to agree to disagree, I dont care if you like me or not, do you think that we could at least stick to the topic of these threads?

Once you file 10 complaints Cyclist will receive one demerit.  5 of those and you're looking at a written warning.

Let's get back on topic in my thread, thxs.  cfan0203 needs to stop spamming my thread, it took a lot of effort and stuff.

Sports radio in Oklahoma is great.  They all hate OSU anyway (OU homers) and they are just exploding with EMAW and how Keaton Paige is going to "eaten alive by those junkyard dogs" (actual quote).

^ Dean Blevins said that.
