So you pony up for a glock... but want a charter over s&w? That glock looks too small to even slow bambi or an equally wussie bird down.

This is the problem with 2nd Amendment restrictions. We cannot protect ourselves from the government with weapons that are legal to buy. But you can get a rifle similar to the m-16/m-4 w/o the 3 round burst setting if you want to invest $1,000 in protecting yourself from the out of control government and the new world order.
I got this over the holidays.

Ruger P89, old bolt action 12 gauge I restored, old .22 semi-auto rifle I restored.
Wouldn't mind having a .50 cal. to shoot engine blocks.

Here's mine in reverse order of when I obtained them:
-softball bat under bed
-rippling muscles
-not a pussy

father abana big time gun enthusiast.... I think he's dissapointed I don't care about them as much as him. He would also pwn in this thread with his extensive collection. He got me some russian wwII sniper rifle for christmas supposively the gun was used before the ak47 was invented has a bayonet and all that fun stuff. I really think he just bought it for himself. I mean they are neat and fun to shoot but they cost soo damn much for something you use......never or every once in a while at a range :dunno:

oh my gosh.... the google ad above this thread was for front sight he has been wanting to take me to vegas for this training course thing....hopefully thats not a sign that I give in. :Ughhh:

Decided not to get one since weapons are defenseless against the year 2012.

anyone hear in 2010 you will be taxed $50 for every firearm you own and have registered? Any firearm not registered will result in fines and/or prison? Some gun nut at work was all over it yesterday. Would &@#%ing suck if true. I wanted to get ACR.

I'd vote for that. Would make it too expensive for some rednecks to shoot themselves in the foot.

And the criminals still wouldn't pay the tax. That's why they're criminals.

It costs $50 to register my dog in town, she's 4 and I have never done it. If they can't spot my dog running around and barking at the mailman every day, how are they gonna see my gun safe in the basement....does that technically make me a criminal

I play quite a bit of Call of Duty, and I can say without a doubt that the most important feature on any gun are those sites with the little red dot thingy.

Thinblueline = awesome.
Whats the value on all of those?
Antique guns are cool. Was checking out some auction sites a few days ago.

Would be another illegal restriction on our rights. Would only surprise me because some people own 20+ guns. 1,000 dollars to own your guns and have the government know exactly where each one is is a scary thought.

Nothing new here. Just the new world order trying to control every facet of our lives.

Varies with the market. Last time I checked was $12,000 to $16,000.

So, what's the deal with antique guns? Like, if they have killed a man they get his soul, right? I can see the draw to that.

No. You only get his soul if you behead him.

Wingmasters are nice. I sold them with Dooley when we worked at the Kmart together in HS. Totally basing this on how my customers talked about them. Also, I drilled bowling ball holes, which was cool (FYI, do NOT forget to sand down the holes or you will make little kids fingers bleed!). Dooley was lazy as &@#% and used to sleep behind the oil pallets in the sporting goods/automotive store room. I did manage to pick up a real nice .22 rifle at employee pricing that we shot at cans for like a month before we got bored with it.
-
TBL, how do you like your Bersa? I'm thinking about the 380 or the 9mm UC. Will probably get the 9 if I can get a good deal on it.

Dude! Mixing paint, cutting keys, drilling holes in bowling balls, filling out those fishing/hunting licenses, will make a m'thrf'ck'r sleepy. Looking back, I can't imagine why the $4.24/hr I was getting wasn't enough to keep me awake.
BTW, I preferred sleeping in the layaway loft. If there was one thing I was sure of, it's that nobody was ever coming back to actually pick up that crap.
