Title: Josh Freeman on Texas
Post by: AzCat on November 06, 2006, 12:31:16 AM
"We've got Texas next week, and we plan on going out and beating them as well."  He's getting there.

This game will tell me a lot about how Prince prepares this team.  Positive comments by Josh and I hope the optimism spreads through the team.  K-State doesn't have the athletes to hang even before recent injuries...but they need to show me heart.    Really, I believe they will...but if there is not effort from play #1 this could get ugly.

They have all been talking about "winning the next 4 games" since the Mizzou game.  Good attitude to have.

since we're only 1 game out of the north championship.  should the team still be playing for championships?

yes, maybe if we can beat texas it will get nebraska scared enough to pee down their legs against colorado.

nebraska would be the tough one, missouri is probably just starting their yearly self implosion, up this week: loss to ISU after hangover from NU game.

so when we win out, we will atleast finish second

Three things have to happen for us to be big XII North champs

in order from most likely to least likely

1. Mizzou has to lose to either ku or ISU

2. We have to beat Texas

3. Nebraska has to lose to CU in Lincoln

2003 has nothing to do with this MJ, we had control over that. We don't have control of the Mizzou and NU scenario.

Actually NU has to lose out as they have the tie breaker over us. That's losing to CU and @ aTm

The longest shot among the things that need to happen is KSU beating  :hookem:.

They are all pretty big long shots. FBWillie, I was already assuming that NU loses to TAMU..

Then I guess we should just give nubb the Big XII title and cancel the rest of the games until the Big XII Championship.   :jerkoff:

Mizzou losing to ku isn't a longshot and NU losing to A&M is more likely than not.  CU does have the athletes to beat NU, yes even in Lincoln, if they play a mistake-free game.  That's not likely but it's far from impossible.
