Title: Freeman v. Reesing
Post by: Dan Rydell on November 05, 2006, 11:14:36 AM
Remember last week, when the Phlocksters were proclaiming Reesing the second coming and "way better" than Freeman because Reesing "scorched" a "pretty good" Colorado defense at home, because he was 7 for 11 (63.6%) with 2 TDs and two turnovers?

Well, here's what Freeman did against that same defense...except on the road:  22 of 26 (84.6%) with two TDs.  No turnovers.

BTW, I noticed that Todd Flutie fumbled a snap and threw another interception on Saturday.

This board is incredibly quiet after victories.

Nice to see Iowa State tank yesterday.

QFT

This place badly needs a couple of talkative optimists.

I don't bother with it anymore, the groupthink over there drives me nuts.

Opinions that don't involve an excess of  :koolaid: are freely expressed here.  That's the difference between this place and GoPowercat.

Yeah, I was never a big fan of reality either.

This place is the anti-koolaid...a negatively-charged groupthink, if you will.

I'm really happy about how good our offense looked yesterday.  Honestly, I am.

Now, WGAF about that?

Kool Aid drinkers here are of the basketball variety.  At this point this season is a success and we've got at least 2 games and most likely 3 game left.  Its the haters that aren't wanting to eat crow.

I've been waiting all morning for Jayhox to chime in (seriously) and he failed to disappoint.

Quote
Is he going to hand the trophy over to his receivers (especially Jordy) for doing something with it after the catch?

I still need to see more of this kid doing more than distributing the ball (i.e. making plays) before he is put on the top shelf. But I will credit Prince for babying the kid and not putting him in many positions to have to make big plays.

Babying him is what you need to do right now.

It's Mangino that would kill the kid.
