Should help them adjust from being away from the ranch.

Ya, if they are typical "ranch folk," then they'll flip out about Fogo. I've never had a bad experience at Fogo. It's the high end of that genre.
Try their sausage, it's surprisingly good.

I have tried everything but the salad bar at Fogo. Love that place. My dad's a little discerning when it comes to steaks.

I smell a Plaza pak/eat-off. I bet I can eat more than Pete. Clams on the other hand..... :scared:

I heard it was ridiculously good and am trying to make it there sometime. Got my dad a giftcard to there for x-mas, i'll make him report back.

It's really great, but the food just comes at you in waves. It's easy to load up early on crap, then only to find out later when the really good meats arrive that you have made a horrible mistake.

I'll pass the advice on. I think a place where meat cooked on open fire coming at you in waves sounds like heaven. What are their sides there? I heard they have the salad bar and the plantains are

Don't take more than one of the bacon-wrapped chicken skewers. Also, don't take more than two of the bacon-wrapped filets; hold out for the legit filet cuts.
Highly recommend the parmesan-crusted pork. Amazing.

Next time I'm out there, I'll have to try it out. I might need to swing by FR's and pick up some stickers while I'm at it.
