SD,

I just ran AAA's Map 'n' Go directions:

The route it shows would have you taking:

1.   I-29 South to Nebraska City, exit 10

2.   Iowa 2/Nebraska 2 to US 75

3.   US 75 South to Topeka  (While in Topeka wave to Saul !)

4.   I-70 West to I-470 South to I-335 South (Kansas Turnpike)

5.   I-335 South to Emporia

6.   I-35 South to Wichita (via Kansas Turnpike)

7.   Stop at Mrs. Dave's Family Xmas party of death/sorrow

8.  US 54 West to Meade.

Good luck !  Thursday is not going to be the most easy travel day...

That's a very sh1tty route.  No offense to AAA who probably already know they suck ass at making routes.

It is AAA's Classless (quickest) route.

If it were me, I'd take I-29 South to Kansas City (actually Platte City, MO), then I-435 past Kansas Speedway and Cabela's to I-35 to Wichita...

That way I can knock you the frack out when you stop in Olathe...   :boxing:

But have it your way, SD, and enjoy York, NE...

My death storm update. Not quite as death for Manhattan but west of us could be interesting:

Well I think I can nail this down a bit more. Looks like this will be more of a rain snow event. Ice could still be an issue if the temps do not get above freezing but as of right now it looks like this will not be the issue allowing the warm upper layer to mix to bellow freezing along with the above ground temps. Rain should start Tuesday evening and continue off and on through Wednesday. Depending on temps it could switch over to sleet or ice at times. Snow will start around Midnight on Wednesday/Thursday. The timing of this will be key on how much snow we get. Best guess is between 6 to 8 inches with more to the west of Manhattan. If it starts snowing and sticking sooner obviously it will be more but right now 6 to 8 for Manhattan and 8 to 14 points west is the best guess. This will be a wet heavy snow and with the high winds coming in after this system pushes east will cause power outage issues in some areas.

Terrible post. Everyone hates snow. Everyone loves tummy sticks. No one knows where Alaska is. Everyone has plowed Gary Lezak's ass. Basically your entire post was stupid and pointless, which goes back to my initial thought ("Terrible post").

Question. If you eat poop, does it looks exactly the same when you poop it back out? Or does it look like some new kind of poop we've never seen before? I wonder if it would be anything like a twice baked potato.

Not a single flake in my exclusive gated community.  Do I still have to pay the ku law grad who shovels my drive if it doesn't snow?  Seems like the nice thing to do on holidays...

Just got home from Lawrence  :suicideispainless:. K-10 is almost impossible to drive on :Driving: . We were going 30 mph the whole way home to KC so it took us about 1 hr and 35 minutes to drive home, which is 1 hr longer than it normally takes. We saw several wrecks along the way and we could barely see the road in front of us so I would recommend not to get out if you don't have to. Stay safe ksu fans!
