Movie- Christmas Vacation followed closely by Christmas Story. I'd also like to throw Just Friends in there, not really a christmas movie but it takes place during christmas so it counts.

Song- Melekaliimaka by jimmy buffet and All I want for christmas(mc version of course)

I don't need those goons to tell me what the best Christmas movie and song is.  When something is the best you just know it right away.  In fact, can one of you outstanding Mods please rename this thread to "Second Best Christmas Movies and Songs behind Die Hard and Christmas in Hollis"?  Thanks!!

I guess I could rename the thread as you suggested...

Then move it the frack to the Litter Box...

And then  :banned: you for being too classy...   ;)

And here is my favorite Christmas Movie - Miracle on 34th Street.  The 1947, B&W version.

My favorite Christmas music is White Christmas as sung by Bing Crosby.

I will say that I like several movies:

The Bishop's Wife
A Christmas Carol - 1951 B&W version
A Christmas Story

And lot's of Christmas music:

Christmas in Hollis - my favorite Rap Christmas song, BTW
Mel Torme's Christmas album (Christmas Songs)
The Carpenters Christmas album (Christmas Portrait) - Merry Christmas Darling is a favorite.

It is too hard for me to pick out just one of each...

Maybe because TBS plays it in a loop for 24 hours straight. :dunno:  I still love the movie.

Cheech and chongs twelve days of christmas :bong:
Adam Sadlers Happy Hanukkah is not christmas song but the seasonal song
Grandma got ran over by a reindeer, is stupid, but I still like it. :santasleigh:

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is the best Thanksgiving movie.  End of discussion.

For Christmas I'd have to say Home Alone 2 (thats the one I owned and used to watch all the time).  Followed very closely by Christmas Vacation.  It's a Wonderful Life can suck my ass.

Song(s): South Park Christmas Soundtrack

I have to agree with South Park Xmas.  Hitler singing Oh, Tannenbaum is very funny, as are all the rest.

Who would of thought a movie of that caliber could have some scenes take place in Wichita?

Careful, too many phicats will leave you crying on the floor in a puddle of your own tears/vomit wishing didn't mess with the stuff.  You should probably stop at one.

Frosty the Snowman.  Not the one where he goes "Down to the Village with a broomstick in his hand," but "Down to the village, with a rifle in his hand."  He's one cold muthafukka!

Had to bump this. Every year that Christmas comes around you can just feel it in the air. Everybody seems to be in a good mood (or at least decent)....

Talking about christmas movies, how how Jingle All The Way with Arnold. Pretty bad movie but I enjoy it for some reason (underrated comedians in this: Hartman, Sinbad, etc.)...

And how about the classic that I forgot....The Santa Clause with Tim Allen.

Since 2003 I try to put the bowl week aside. :-[

But when we are eligible, it just makes it that much more great...
