Title: Very disappointed . . .
Post by: sonofdaxjones on December 04, 2009, 01:55:52 PM
in some of the pure 100% powertard that's showing it's gawdforesaken forlorn head over here concerning Mangino.

Coach Snyder, get on the horn and bring Mark Mangino in as a consultive position.

What do a lot of NFL teams have now . . . quality control coaches or whatever.   Guys that watch all the film, watch film of the other teams and just basically make notes and bullet points of what they see that the regular coaches may not pick up on.  Have him review recruiting film . . . then he can say OB was mentoring him, teaching him how to handle things better and gets him set up for a shot at another head coaching job in a few years.

C'mon man.

Not sure having Mangino on the staff is really a recruiting plus right now, if you know what I mean.  I think he would be a tremendous assistant otherwise.

Wouldn't be surprised by it at all, probably all depends on if there is any legitimate bad blood there that can't be overcome.  Snyder has done this for several former coaches after they got fired before.  And Mangino would add quite a bit, especially since he's also been coaching in the North the last 8 years.
