Mangino is probably the first and last coach that has brought some sense of respect to the ku program.
It is sad they got rid of a coach who cared more about football than his own family and wanted to achieve real success.
I'm certain that Bill Self had a lot to do with that. You could see him sneering when they did the Orange Bowl celebration at the Phrog and commenting privately "I'm not going to let that fat frack steal my limelight."
Oh well.. it's basketball season.. now and forever.

According to R. Twibell(sp?) we all need to re-remember the eliteness of Glenn Mason. They were apparently on the verge of a national championship and forgot to offer Mason a contract, but that is when people didn't care about uk f-ball.

As I said, ku fans need to take the top 5 names on their dream coaching list, cross them off then start considering who would actually TAKE the job, not who they would like to give the job to.
