Title: Bigger mistake by NU or ku?
Post by: EllToPay on December 04, 2009, 09:53:18 AM
NU fires Solich, and has been in a tailspin ever since. Winning the North this year only deepens the love affair for a piece of sh*t coach that lucked into the North via the suckage of Keithen Valentine.

ku fires the second winningest coach in school history and 2 wins shy of their all time record. The only ku coach to win a BCS bowl. And by all accounts he was a loving and caring coach who had a bit of a weight problem.

I lean towards NU.

WTF?  Loving & caring? A BIT of a weight problem?  You're obviously talking about some other ku coach, not the Manginosaurus.

Mang gets a lot of credit for just being a not sucky coach.  It isn't like it takes a magician to make a team competitive in the Big 12 North.   IMO, it's similar to Frank's situation.  He's getting applauded for not being as much of a complete and total moron as the few guys before him.

Solich hands down. I don't know if there is another firing as dumb as that one in CFB history. Callahan might come close.
