Bill Self actually said in his presser on Monday that uk has the hardest OOC anyone from the big xii has ever had.  He then went on to talk about LaSalle, Belmont, Oakland and some other chitty schools from no-name conferences that "may or may not compete for their conf title..."  I heard that and thought, "he's got to be joking???"  But no, he was serious, and KK and DK didn't call him on it.

I'm pretty sure uk has played tougher non-con schedules in recent years, let alone "toughest OOC schedule this conf has ever seen", WTF?!?!?.  I think he's been hanging around the beaktards too much; I mean BMW wouldn't profess as much, and it doesn't get much more tarded that he.

What a f*cking jackass

Shameful early season schedule for a program like ku.

They play 1 fringe top 25 non-con team in 3 weeks, and don't get a current top 15 in the non con until January 10th.

Other than Hofstra, all kus games thus far were scheduled through the Hall of Fame Showcase. Not much they could do about it. The opponent rpi goes up drastically from here.

8 of the 15 games are against tourney teams from last year. Andy Katz called kus non-con the toughest in the nation before the season started. Some teams, like UCLA, just haven't kept up their end of the bargain. And ku vs Memphis would have been #1 vs #2 back when it was scheduled before Cal left.

At least we aren't playing div 2 teams out of exhibition... Now that's shameful scheduling

would yuo rather they lose to a bunch of half-assed teams from nowhere like the rest of the big 12tards?

stfu and be thankful that ku and kstate are upholding the conference honor with week of 11-30-09 victories.

Yet K-State has already played 2 teams that were ranked at the time of the game, and will likely be ranked again here shortly, with ranked UNLV next week.   No one cares what Andy Katz said BEFORE the season, or what MIGHT have happened had Cal stayed at Memphis.

Poor J-Hawks. Their scheduling completely at the mercy of the powerful HOF Showcase. What could they do? :dunno:

Self knows ku is going back on probation (yet again) and he is leaving for a power school so he is raining his points while he can.

Um, who was ranked besides Dayton? ksu has played 1 ranked team, now unranked. No one cares about rankings given BEFORE the season either, same principle applies. Memphis is a lot closer to breaking into the rankings than Dayton is.

All that matters is how it looks at the end of the year, and i'm willing to bet that ku's non-con looks pretty damn good when it's all said and done. Meanwhile KSU goes back to the NIT off the bubble for their weak SOS, just like last year.

Fair point about Dayton, but you really don't know our OOC at all if you are making that statement.

Our non-con is tougher than ku's.
