Georgia: In terms of the defensive coordinator position, our sources tell us head coach Mark Richt will almost certainly ask for permission to talk with Kansas State defensive coordinator Vic Koenning

He's just renting in Manhattan.

If Vic's wife is living where I think she might living in SC . . . than I don't blame her for not wanting to leave  Myrtle Beach area just up the road, Charleston 1.5 hours away . . . cozy upscale area.

Myrtle Beach is trash and a joke. During the summers it is flooded with assholes from Ohio and Michigan.

...OMFG Charleston     one of my favorite places to go while living here.

I really hope this is not the case but if true, VK gave me the biggest Broner this season with the improvement in defense sort of, and I hope he stays. If not, eh, I'll live. I'll just kidnap his first born child.

Our source very close to the situation tell us that Head Coach Mark Richt intends to talk with both Vic Koenning (Kansas State Co-Defensive Coordinator)
and Reggie Herring (Dallas Cowboys Linebackers coach) in regards to the Defensive Coordinator position.

God, good ridance Vic.  Bros, it's Venzy time  :woot:

This is true.  I'm in Charleston now and contemplating a move to here.  Never seen so many people happy to live where they actually live.

MB is great for a guys golf trip, but the place is a dump!

Again, if she lives where I think she does . . . it isn't MB, it's South of there, and much nicer.  If you live there you only pop over to MB to shop and then get the hell out.

Your welcome for my time.

Good news re Vic:

ESPN's "Rumor Central" wrote the following:

"The buzz in Athens is that Arizona defensive coordinator Mark Stoops is a candidate for the Georgia defensive coordinator gig.

Stoops is the younger brother of Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops and Arizona coach Mike Stoops. ESPN affiliate The Big Spur reports that there's an 80 percent chance the job goes to Stoops or Alabama assistant Sal Sunseri."

The problem with that is The Big Spur report doesn't link Stoops to the Georgia job. It links Stoops to the Florida State defensive coordinator opening.
