If DT would have gotten 12 carries and we would have thrown 45 times, doubt anyone would have been critical if we lost.

Have you never seen Gregory throw before?  Like ever?  We can't air the ball out.  Physically can not.  We can run a bunch an hope that sucks a safety up, leaving somebody wide open.  Even then, we can't the receiver much of the time.  If we throw the ball 45 times against Mizzou, we end with like 6 picks and we lose by an even greater margin.
