I was watching the game live, and after watching the replay several times, it did not look like goaltending at all. There's really nothing that is contreversial about it.

I watched, too. Shot was clearly short of a the goal.
It's maddening to watch the Heats offense and their refusal to give Beasley any shots in the paint. Sets have him standing in the corner half the time waiting for Wade's table scraps.

It was close to goaltending.  I think the ball might have hit the rim had Beas not touched it, but it clearly wasn't going in.

As far as getting Wade's scraps.  Not such a bad thing considering DWade is currently playing like the best player in the league.  beas is still getting over 13 shots a game and 2nd most on the team.  He does need to get to the foul line more though.  Like you say, probably a product of him setting up on the outside.

watched the whole game as well, unusual for me since i dont like nba games. But man i was screaming at the end. Total EMAW moment.
