Tom should be embarrassed.

JFC, if Pelini was in the coaches' challenge thing instead of Tom he would call Bill a f^cking asshole at mid field for running up the mentors

Plus, Bo would have only signed up like two kids.  And they would both be the retard offspring of 2 retards.

You don't sign up kids you sign up adults to mentor kids. I was going to do it but didn't want to help Tom close the gap.

Well then.  I guess I should stop tuning out Snyder the second he starts talking about mentoring in the future.  Out of curiosity, where do they get the kids to have the mentors do their thing with?

More should.  Went to see Snyd's during retirement at a mentors meeting.  Very important message and it's amazing how much a little positive reinforcement can change a young persons life.

OB gave shout-outs to J-Mart and I at Wichita summer catbackers for this.

Unfortunately, lil' bro's birthday is what's causing delay in finalizing IUPUIPak travel plans.  Don't think this pak is going to be a family event that I want to bring him to.

SD, you should've signed up while demanding that you count for Snyd's team.  My kid went AWOL earlier this year and there was a possibility I was going to be re-matched.  I planned on confirming I'd get counted again this year for OB before my kid got back in the picture and re-matching wasn't necessary.

I wonder if we could work up some kind of mentor churning scheme similar to the scheme discussed in the rick daris credit card churning thread.  Like, sign up and meet a kid once and buy him a happy meal and give him $40 or something and then sign up for a different kid the next week handing off the previous kid to the next Mentor Pak member who they get credit for the same kid again.  A group of about 5 of us matched up with 5 kids could go round robin tourney on them for a year and rack up 260 mentor points for Bill in one year :dunno:  It would be like an extended EMAW family for these kids and they would get to have tons of Big Bros.

They're pretty insistent that you commit to a kid for a year absent unforeseen circumstances, so this plan could be tough.  It might not help with Snyder's challenge, but I think it would be great for the mentorees to each have an elite Pak mentor and for the mentorees to have their own Little Pak.  And yeah, it might not be official, but they'd all have a number of elite mentors.

We're going to need those pak head shirts in kid's sizes.

Why don't we just get to the brass tacks here, gentlemen.  Let's all get together and have a few paktails, find us some kids in dire need of elite mentoring services, (We should probably buy some large van-like vehicle with that acronym on the side in large letters.  Maybe some flashing lights as well.)  and mentor those kids like they've never been mentored before.  It'll be great, like having our own personal helper-monkeys, that hopefully don't have to wear diapers indoors.

Bo would have had initial mentor success with Callahan signups, after that pure tard zone for Dilbo

I've been a volunteer with BBBS since 2003, but my current match was started in 2007, so I'm not sure if I counted for Snyder or not since I was not a new volunteer, just a new match.  Anyway, I would definitely say my little brother is my best friend in the world, and we will be lifelong friends, long after we aren't in the program anymore.  This kid is becoming quite the EMAW, too.  We go to most of the men's basketball games together, plus some football games, women's basketball, and volleyball as well.  We got to meet Michael Beasley one time, and we were first in line to meet Mitch Richmond last year at his jersey retirement.

So, you're doing him than?  I always figured that whole BB/BS thing was a haven for pedos.
