Jacob Pullen has grown as a player because of being next to Denis Clemente.

if you were pullen, would this type of statement piss you off?  i think it would me.

yep, sounds like it does piss him off a bit.

I told Chris after that game, there were days when I thought about it and went, ‘Damn, why did I go to (KSU), why didn’t I go to Dayton?’ But I just told him it was a decision I made, and I have to make the best of it.”

And I have to say Jake has come a long way.

The Abe Lincoln-esque chin curtain is a good thing.

I've said it a lot but Jake will go down as one of the most loved EMAW basketball players of all time.  Also, agreed _FAN.  He is much better looking now.  I think Manhattan does that to you.

It probably does piss him off.  But, it shouldn't.

With how much trash Denis throws around the court, Jake's PG play is just that much more important to our success.  And, I think it has forced him to step up, be a leader, and play flawless basketball every single game (see Dayton).

IMO Pullen now makes better decisions as to when to shoot when to drive and when to pass.  Clemente still doen't have this down.  I think Pullen is a much better player than Clemente, Clemente is just an emotional spark plug though if you need a spark Clemente is the man unless he is cold that day then he is just a game loser.

My favorite Denis Clemete'ism?  He instantly heat checks himself every time he hits a nice shot.  Like, next time down the court you can bank on him firing up something ridiculous just to see if he's getting ready to go off for 44 or if he's going 5 for 19 on the night.

Love Pullen, as a player and as a guy who was able to stick at KSU even with Frank relentlessly chewing his ass.

He's tough

The couple times he drove into the middle of lane, just to get it tied up kinda pissed me off. But otherwise, very nice performance.

Pullen used to piss me off when he would come down the court and chuck a 3 with out running any offense, haven't seen as much of that from him this year.  Maybe because he isn't playing as much point.  Also his drives like you said when there is no where to go, but hasn't done that as much this year yet.  He has be getting to the bucket and drawing fouls I'll take that.

No Pullen would do it a lot his freshman year and then get pulled by frank and be told he was selfish, also did it some last year.  Has not done it this year that I have seen.

pulls looked much better at the 1 against dayton.  There was a stretch when we built a lead with clemente on the bench because pulls got the ball down and got fouled or penetrated and dished.

I believe you mean "diffusion."  Osmosis is only water.  Common mistake tho.
