If Jackson thinks Knight isn't serious about this, though, he is going to learn a tough lesson. Knight does care about his kids but it is certainly tough love. His kids also remain loyal to him long after they have left the program -- very similar to what Huggins kids do!

If Knight and Huggins were forced to battle to the death in a steel cage Knight would crush Huggins like the slimey insect that he is.

Snart, you're dead-on. Provided Jackson gets his nose back in the books, he'll be reinstated for the Big XII schedule. In the meantime, Knight wants to get the rest of his squad used to playing WITHOUT Jackson, instead of having to do it mid-season. Jackson will be back within a couple months, mark it down.
