Title: My Flying FP Award for last night goes to:
Post by: sonofdaxjones on November 22, 2009, 02:29:09 PM
Lamark Brown- for making possibly the singular pussiest attempt in football history to recover a fumble.

Stevie Wilson on the Southern Overland Park Steelers Pop Warner Mighty Mite team is officially off the hook.

Why should he give a crap about this team anymore? We have completely ignored our 2nd best athlete. Pathetic playcalling.

"Hey guys, let's do nothing but throw crossing routes to the smallest player in D-1 football!!!!! I like it!!!!!"

That is a valid but mutually exclusive issue Kougs . . . do not try and hijack this thread.

Okay, then to your point: Coffman's failure to try to recover his fumble in the Tech game was a billion times more FP than Lamark's.

While that's a very good point Kougs, we were getting a$$ hammered in that game.

I don't get that either, unless they thought that Thomas would actually garner attention.

You didn't say anything about game situations. You just said single "singular pussiest attempt to recover a fumble." It wasn't even the pussiest attempt by this team this year.

:dunno:

Note to Self:  Always have a laundry list of qualifiers for Kougs.

Nobody cares about that Kougs, unless you thought that moment prevented Coffman from rallying K-State from down 5 TD's.

I don't care about the Lamark attempt either. There is no way fate was going to let us win that game. It's basketball season.

So true. He has the build to go and get that ball too without being hurt. All while little Brandon Banks is trying like hell to grab the ball on the turf knowing that the game might be his last in college (he just wasn't in position, Lamark was)...

Lamark should converse with Nick Leckey about not being an FP and actually going after a loose ball.

I don't know why, we rarely throw to him.

it was third and long. Not unusual for the main back to be out. Pisses me off as well. Plus DT has been hurt and is used more than most RB in the game.

Still may be.  He's been playing with an injured foot for the last several games.  He has size and hands, and that alone will get him a look.
